Measurement of GFR in animal models: use of the clearence iohexol-DBS in mice and rats
- Location: Animal facilities of University of La Laguna, Campus de Anchieta, Avda. Astrofísico Fco Sánchez s/n 38200 La Laguna. S/C de Tenerife.
- 8:30 – Welcome and Introduction (by Dr. Esteban Porrini (ULL) and Dr. Ana Elena Rodríguez Rodríguez (HUC))
- 9:00 – Practical session: Measured GFR by iohexol-DBS in rats and mice (by Dr. Ana Elena Rodríguez-Rodríguez and Silvia Teixido-Trujillo)
- Each participant will be able to perform a complete analysis.
- The results will be analyzed in our laboratory and sent to you later.
- Location: Instituto de Tecnologías Biomédicas (ITB), Faculty of Medicine, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.
- 14:00 – Lunch in the ITB
- 15:00 – Measured GFR by iohexol-DBS: analysis of the results (by Dr. Sergio Luis Lima (HUC))
- 15:30 – Renal function in animals models: murine (by Silvia Teixidó Trujillo) and in pig (by Aaron Alí).
